Our Christian Faith
Dwell Ministries is rooted in the Bible, centered on Jesus Christ, and committed to living and sharing the Gospel with grace, truth, love, and integrity.
This public Statement of Faith summarizes the biblical convictions guiding Dwell Ministries. It may be refined through responsible pastoral and board review without abandoning the ministry’s fundamental Christian identity.
We believe the Holy Scriptures are inspired by God and are the trustworthy authority for Christian faith, doctrine, and life. 2 Timothy 3:16–17
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—perfect in holiness, love, wisdom, and power. Matthew 28:19
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, sinless in life, crucified for our sins, raised bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and coming again. John 1:1,14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—not earned by human works. In Christ we are forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God. Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, gives spiritual gifts, produces godly fruit, empowers worship and witness, and leads us into truth and holy living. Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23
We believe all who belong to Christ are part of His Church and are called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, communion, service, generosity, and Gospel mission. Acts 2:42–47
We believe water baptism publicly identifies a believer with Christ, and the Lord’s Supper remembers His sacrifice and proclaims His death until He comes. Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
We believe prayer and worship are essential responses to God. We seek His presence, intercede for others, listen for His direction, and glorify Him in spirit and truth. John 4:23–24; Philippians 4:6–7
We believe followers of Jesus are called to love God and neighbor, pursue holiness, practice justice and mercy, forgive others, care for those in need, and reflect Christ in every area of life. Matthew 22:37–39; Micah 6:8
We believe families should be nurtured through biblical love, faithfulness, mutual honor, responsible care, discipleship, and commitment to Christ. Joshua 24:15; Ephesians 5:21
We believe every person is made in the image of God and should be treated with dignity, compassion, truth, justice, and love. Genesis 1:27; John 3:16
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, eternal life with God for those in Christ, and the ultimate restoration of all things under His righteous reign. John 11:25–26; Revelation 21:1–5
We hold biblical truth with conviction and share it with humility, compassion, and love. Our goal is not merely to know Scripture, but to become faithful disciples who obey Jesus and reflect His character.
